Connect SAP HANA to the SLD

To make sure that SAP HANA can be seen/managed in SAP Solution Manager you need to connect i to the SAP Landscape Directory (SLD).

To connect the SAP HANA database to the SLD you need to use start the SAP HANA On-site configuration tool.

In the main menu select Configure SLD Connection.

Enter SLD hostname, port, username and password.

Connection setup only takes a few seconds. The SLD registration file was generated successfully.

After an SAP HANA restart in the trace file dev_sldregs we can see that the registration is successful.

In SAP Solution Manager start transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER select the tab Solution Manager Administration button Landscape. Under the tab All Technical Systems you can see the SAP HANA Database. In the Show Details the revision level 51 is shown.

After patching the SAP HANA Database from revision 51 to revision 52 this is immediately shown in the transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER.
